Wheel Workshops
This is your chance to try out the pottery wheel in a relaxed, stress-free environment! No experience necessary, all skill levels welcome. Wheel workshops are typically open to age 10+, please see individual class descriptions for more details.
Date: July 25
Time: 4:30 - 6:30pm
Rate: $45/person

The class will begin with a brief introduction to and demonstration on the pottery wheel, after which students will have plenty of time to try it out for themselves. Rob Lorenz (instructor/owner) will be there to help out as needed and make sure everyone gets at least one successful pot off the wheel. At the end of the class each student will get to pick one or two of their best pieces to be glazed and fired. (The finished pots will be ready to be picked up in a few weeks.)
This class is for adults and children ages 10 and over.
If registering for more than one person, please include the names of all students in the “Notes/Comments” section of the registration page.

Date Nights
Our date nights are popular and fill up fast! This one of a kind experience is sure to impress, so bring your significant other, best friend or whoever you’d like and come by the studio to play with clay. This time is reserved for adults only and pre-registration is required.

Hand Building Workshops
Hand building workshops are great for all experience levels. Learn building techniques like pinching, coiling and slab work. Most hand building classes are open to ages 10 and up. However some offer the opportunity for a younger child to work collaboratively on a single project with their parent/guardian as well. Please see descriptions for details.
Date: Saturday, May 30
Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Join us for an afternoon in the studio making personalized signs! In this class parents and children will work together using simple slab construction and carving techniques to create these fun signs that are perfect for bedroom doors, cubbies, or wherever. After making, carving and stamping the signs, we will use glazes to add color and additional decoration.
Please note, this is a kid’s class for children up to 12 years old. Children will work together with a parent or guardian to complete one project
