Have fun getting messy while learning the quintessential ceramic technique of making pottery on a pottery wheel. This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of using the wheel to center, pull a wall, and create basic forms. If you have taken the class previously, you will be able to improve on your basic skills and learn new techniques. Make your own plates, bowls, cups and more! All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary.
This class includes 6 weeks of instruction, 25 lbs of clay, glazing and firing.

Tuesday Evenings: September 8 - October 20, no class Oct. 13

Friday Mornings: September 11 - October 23, no class Oct. 16
Hand building classes are great for those new to clay. Learn building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab work, as well as some advanced techniques if you are already familiar with the basics. Hand building classes can be great for throwers too, expanding your repertoire of techniques and letting you look at clay in a new way.
This class includes 6 weeks of instruction, 25 lbs of clay, glazing and firing.
Class time: Wednesday Afternoon, 1:00- 3:30pm, September 9 - October 21, no class October14
Workshops are a great way to try out ceramics without a long term commitment.

This one of a kind date night is sure to impress! Come by the studio with your significant other, best friend, or whoever to spend a couple hours relaxing and playing on the pottery wheel.
The class will begin with a brief introduction to and demonstration on the pottery wheel. Students will then have plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company while making some pots on the wheel. Rob Lorenz (instructor/owner) will be there to help out as needed and make sure everyone gets at least one successful pot off the wheel. At the end of the class each person will get to pick one or two of their best pieces to be glazed and fired. (The finished pots will be ready to be picked up in a few weeks.)
Price is $45 per person, each registration includes two adults.
This class is reserved for people 18 years of age and up.
Students may bring drinks or light snacks to enjoy during the class.
