Clay is the perfect medium for sculpting just about anything, including the human face. In this workshop we will make “man in the moon” wall hangings, focusing on how to form the various facial features. We will also discuss how to move the facial features to create different expressions, and how to exaggerate, and distort features to make more comical caricatures.

After sculpting the faces and adding a hanging loop to the back, students will pick what type fo finish they want, and we will do the rest! Finished pieces are usually ready for pick up in about four weeks.
